Daisuke Salon De Coiffure

Sorry for the MIA,

I've been really busy with school recently. But here's a little update while I take some time off the books.

I recently went to Daisuke salon de Coiffure (about 2 weeks ago) and decided to give my scalp some TLC. Might I remind you, it's not always about the mane. What we often overlook is that most of our hair problems are rooted from the roots (yeah, wordplay intended).

Moving on, Dasuke is a hair salon located at the 3 two square in PJ (full address at end of post), it was established about 4 years ago by Daisuke himself. The salon had a really nice atmosphere to it, almost zen-like. The decors were mostly green and brown, with a white brick wall backdrop. The lights played a really big role. I just really loved the ambiance it gave off.

I decided on the CO2 scalp treatment, they first briefed me on their product, before working on my tresses. The whole treatment was quite an experience. The first thing they did was wash my head using the scalp nozzle attachment. The treatment gave off a tingly sensation, but it felt really good. They then put about a handful of the CO2 product all over my scalp and left it for around 5 minutes, in order for it to work its magic. The CO2 foam felt very airy and minty on my scalp, if they left me a little longer, I would've fallen asleep. It felt so cool and calming at the same time. Not only that, the product also has a nice fragrance to it, very therapeutic.

Ruby, the stylist tending to me was very nice and informative. She was also very gentle on my hair. She then washed off my hair with the same nozzle used earlier and the water used to wash my hair was placed side by side to compare the residue that came off of my scalp from before using the product and after. I could see all the dust particles floating about the water along with the oil. Pretty disturbing. :/

I had my hair blow dried and was off to fill my tummy for lunch.

And get this, the price of the hair treatment is only RM 28! Such a steal for keeping your scalp clean and in healthy condition. I'm so making this a monthly thing!

The CO2 treatment (RM28) + Curled blow dry (RM40) amounted to about RM68.

The product used is a Japanese product retailing at RM100 per bottle. I don't think it is sold anywhere else. And honestly, it's a reasonable price to pay, as it can also be used on your skin as a sort of home spa treat for yourself. It is said to be able to unclog pores.
Verdict; not so sure about the unclogging but I definitely loved the feeling and how it is foamy, yet stiff. Much like the texture of meringue. Would totally be using more of it.

And to all hijabistas, worry not as they also provide private rooms for haircuts and treatments.

I am not really good at this. I don't think I can tell you what I am limited to only a few words. Because I do not know what I am. I'm still in the process of finding out. I don't think I ever will though. The human species are ever changing. We evolve to different things every other day. Although there are traits that linger, I have yet to learn on how to differentiate which is which.
